Yes, it's that time of year again, the time when Sydney explodes in a cacophony of running shoes and lycra shorts (and possibly traffic chaos?) to undergo 14km of grueling asphalt.  We Aussie's love a challenge and there's nothing like a bit of lactic acid to celebrate being alive - and it's even better when you can support your favourite charity at the same time.

One of the official charity partners of City2Surf 2012, The Heart Foundation saves lives and improves health through funding world-class cardiovascular research as well as assisting those with cardiovascular disease.  Everyone who signs up to run for Team Heart Foundation will be helping to fight heart disease – Australia’s number one killer of men and women.
